INTENTION is how we RiSE UP to our dreams.
The ART of BUiLDiNG Intention is
tuning into where you are in this very moment.
Having the courage to LISTEN to that feeling in your tummy.
You flip flop.
You swirl.
You jump.
You listen to where you are,
and you know how to say yes and no with kindness for you and for others.
~ Adapted from Neil Pasricha
At RiSE UP we remind women that Intention means to create space for a healthy mind and a heart filled with enthusiasm. This requires ALL-Women to be brave and honor our yeses and nos with kindness.
Every persons yeses and nos are different and sometimes fear of judgement and gossip makes it difficult to listen to that feeling in our tummies and choose the yeses or nos that are right for us in that moment. This is where kindness comes into play. At RiSE UP we are suggesting that kindness is the opposite of judgement.
Judgement often turns into gossip and gossip is poison for any community, culture, family, or playground. We need to listen to our tummies before we say yes and no - this takes energy.
When we say yes too much, and never say no, we end up tired, burnt out, and running on empty. This puts our health at risk. When our health is at risk, so is the health of all that we are connected to.
To be healthy YOU need to be brave and honor all the yeses and nos with kindness. This creates space for a healthy mind and a heart filled with enthusiasm. That is the ART of BUiLDiNG Intention.
Teaching children at a young age to tune-in to that feeling in his/her tummy and to be brave to listen with kindness to all the yeses and nos will hopefully teach the skill to create space for a healthy mind and a heart filled with enthusiasm.

Our RiSE UP workshop - The ART of BUiLDiNG Intention - creates a safe space to start having those conversations in a creative, fun way. We use ART to help build connection with that feeling in our tummies. The conversation teaches that every persons yeses and nos are different.
We also introduce The RiSE UP Power of Five for building intention.
Kids are never too young to start saying their thankfuls or little prayers before bed.
